I knew from watching Lambert on Idol he could sing. I knew from his post-Idol albums that he could sell albums. What I didn't know until this release was that he has heart.

My favorite track has to be "Aftermath". The lyrics could be his personal affirmation of his dreams, goals and lifestyle. What impresses me, however, is the message he is sending to his young fans -- be yourself, no matter what the fallout-- after it all works out it will be okay. A good message for everyone.

I believe his talent shows better in an acoustic setting. No interference or competition on what is just pure vocal talent. His range is superb (was that a Triple A?) and his control shows the professional he is.

I look forward to his future endeavors.
