1. How Do I Download a Ringtone?

You will need to send a text or SMS message from your mobile handset, with the keyword to the song you are requesting to the number 649649. For example, for ‘Forever’ by Chris Brown, send FOREVER to 649649.

Shortly after, you should receive a “WAP push”. Depending on your phone model, this may also be called a Web Alert, or Browser Message. The message should include a link to the ringtone that will launch in your phone’s browser. You will be asked to confirm your purchase, after which the download should begin.

2. Does my phone support Myplay Ringtones?

Every effort is made to support individual handsets. However, your particular model may not have the correct specifications to support this service. If your phone is not supported you should receive a “device not supported” message when you try to download the ringtone. If this is the case, you will not be charged for the ringtone you requested. If you feel that you have been charged for an unsuccessful download, please contact your provider.

Different phone models handle “WAP Pushes” (sometimes called a Web Alert or Browser Message) differently. If you do not receive this message after you requested a ringtone, it may have been sent to a separate inbox. Please consult the manual for your phone if you are unsure how to find these messages or contact your carrier.

The primary reason that you wouldn’t be able to follow the link is that your WAP browser, or data service, is not enabled. Please consult the manual for your phone to find out how to enable this service or contact your carrier.
