3. I have so many amazing songs! Should I send my demo in volumes?

While our A&R people are amazing - some say almost superhuman - they just don't have the time to listen to 10 or 11 of your songs. You should pick out three or four songs that are your strongest and best showcase your talent.

4. How on earth can I pick just three or four songs for my demo? What do you want to hear?

We want to hear your talent and originality. A quality piece of work with a great voice or voices. We want to hear great songs and great ideas. Show us that you have a real understanding of what you do in whatever genre of music you work in. Show us your passion, baby! While your cover of Cyndi Lauper's "SheBop" might be breathtaking, we'd rather hear your songs.

- - - - - - - BACK TO THE TOP - - - - - - ------------ - - - - - - ----------- -- - - - - - ---- - - - -

5. What else should I include with my demo?

Along with your music, you may want to include a brief bio and picture. Don't forget to include contact information. We can't tell you we like your stuff if we don't know who you are or where to find you!

6. I've checked my voicemail and inbox every half-hour, it's been a whole day and you still haven't contacted me! When should I expect to hear from you?

Once again, although our A&R department is incredible, they have a lot of music to listen to. It could take as long as two months to get back to you. Please remember that we only contact you if interested in your material.
