VIENTO A FAVOR: THE SONGS

1. Sin consideración.- In this beautiful song penned by Leonel García, a sincere and honest dialogue takes place between a man and his broken heart. In the end, the song is almost a ballad between two friends.

2. No se me hace fácil.- In the best Gianmarco style, this majestic ballad with orchestral touches is a cry for a love that has come to an end. Emotional, full of intimate choruses, “No se me hace fácil” highlights all of Alejandro Fernández’s romantic sensibility.

3. Tanto amar.- Perhaps the sweetest and most tender song in “Viento a Favor.” Alejandro Fernández almost whispers this story about a love that he has wished for and has taken a long time to arrive. “Tanto amar” is also by Leonel García.

4. Solitario y solo.- Noel, from the Sin Bandera duo, and Claudia Brant, have joined forces to create a romantic song with a sweet rhythm that tells the story of that first stage of heartbreak, when everything is pain. Thanks to Alejandro’s inspired interpretation, “Solitario y solo” is at times devastating.

5. Sueño contigo.- A song full of spirit and Latin rhythm, “Sueño contigo” is a musical party. Written by Gianmarco, “Sueño contigo” tells the story, between trombones and trumpets, of a man who knows he has found the love of his life, and will do anything in his reach to keep it with her.

6. Te voy a perder.- The album’s first single is a heartfelt cry written by Leonel and by Aureo Baqueiro. The voice of Alejandro Fernández becomes the voice of man that knows breakup is just around the corner, and he begs his heart to find the strength to go on. The song reaches a climax that is simply dramatic.

7. Amenaza de lluvia.- With his typical guitars and sounds, Raúl Ornelas has created a song about the inner turmoil that loneliness can create. The lyrics, painful and honest, showcase Alejandro Fernández’s maturity.

8. Estabas ahí.- Thanks to an intimate and moving piano, and to the heartfelt performance by Alejandro Fernández, this song by Reily sounds more like a poem than a romantic ballad. Throughout this tale of how love can save a man in pain, Alejandro’s voice blends with the piano as if both were just one instrument.

9. A manos llenas.- Jaime Flores, of “3 de copas” and Karen Juantorena have written a song full of joy. “A manos llenas” celebrates the arrival of a love that knows no limits or conditions… an eternal love.

10. Eres.- Pure Colombian joy. From Fonseca, the great Colombian composer, comes this smooth “vallenato” tune about love flourishing in the spring. Unafraid to explore his Latin roots, Alejandro Fernández offers us “Eres,” a song to dance closely and passionately.

11. Amor gitano.- Reyli has written a sensual and passionate song for two of the greatest music icons in the world: Alejandro Fernández and Beyoncé. It is a duet the stuff legends are made of, with the musical backgrounds of these two performers coming into a seductive play.

12. Cuando estamos juntos.- In a final twist, Alejandro surprises us with a song that immediately makes us smile. Written by Aureo Baqueiro, “Cuando estamos juntos” joyfully celebrates the everyday life of a couple. The song is catchy, impossible to resist singing or humming as a new day dawns. A day where the winds of “Viento a Favor” blow favorably.
